Abstract

Under the backdrop of digital transformation, vocational education curricula face challenges such as superficial application of technology, fragmented localization of cultural resources, weak integration of “post–course–competition–certificate”, and a unitary evaluation system. These issues hinder the ability of higher vocational art and design courses to meet the demand for high-quality, technically skilled talents in the cultural and creative industry. Based on the course “Pattern Creative Design” in higher vocational education, grounded in core vocational theories such as work-process-systematization and the integration of post, course, competition, and certificate, this paper constructs a four-in-one teaching model centered on the construction of a digital asset bank of Sichuan local culture. The model is driven by intelligent-assisted design, open resource sharing, and school-enterprise cooperative competitions, with multi-dimensional comprehensive evaluation as the outcome. This model connects the entire teaching chain—resource construction, classroom teaching, practical training, and evaluation feedback—deeply integrating regional intangible cultural heritage and ancient architectural pattern resources while establishing a balanced “process + outcome” evaluation mechanism. Results from teaching practice show that the four-in-one teaching model effectively addresses traditional teaching pain points, significantly enhances students’ creative design abilities, fosters digital application skills and copyright awareness, and facilitates the deep integration of vocational education with digital technologies. It provides a paradigmatic practical reference for the reform of higher vocational art and design curricula and the cultivation of regional cultural and creative talents.
